Habitat for Humanity International is a notable NGO providing low-income families with a way out of poverty by building homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Having thoughtful researching about Habitat brand philosophy, NICE decided to use the lyrics "Let me go Home" from Michael Bubble's song "Home" as the main interior design theme for the Habitat Vietnam office project, with the goal of giving employees a sense of familiarity, fun, comfort, and safety when they come to work.
To suit the client's limited budget for relocation and construction, the project team first utilized the existing glass wall and door system, then developed a layout concept based on the current ceiling and floor to fulfill primary functions. Working with a miniature area, we have transformed the bar and guest waiting room into a distinctive focal point and cozy, close-knit feeling of "Home".
With long, clean lines that are emphasized by cool blue dividers and bar pendant lights shaped like diagonal roof lines, the office design is modern, lively, and youthful. It brings to mind the images of houses Habitat has built for communities in Vietnam and around the world.
